MARGARET THE BRAVE - OFFICIAL TRAILER

A recently-divorced professor of mythology tries to inspire his teenage daughter with a fairy tale on the night she leaves home to live with her mother, but considering the state of the world- it will take more than fantasy to reach her…

Filmed over the course of the pandemic, this tale of hope was brought to life by the talented and hardworking members of the Las Vegas film community- as well as artists from around the world. After the success of Violent Water, the director wanted to expand on the VFX techniques used in that project- and apply them on a broader narrative canvas. The result was our biggest undertaking yet, and we’re proud to finally be able to share it with you now.

VIOLENT WATER - SONIA BARCELONA

This silent-film-inspired music video tells the story of a French Navy captain who is cast overboard, and the perilous adventure that waits for him on the ocean floor...

This project was made possible through a Kickstarter campaign. Many of the props and costumes were made by the filmmakers themselves. The sea monster’s head was constructed using craft store clay, while its eyes were made from ping pong balls. The mermaid’s costume was made using felt and glitter glue. All the “sets” were hand-painted by a local street artist, and the ghosts and sailors in the video are active members of the community.

NOOSE - PAIGE OVERTON

Singer-songwriter Paige Overton takes us through a whimsical retelling of her tumultuous love life, set against the backdrop of the wild west.

Made as part of the Las Vegas Film Festival Music Video Lab, this project was completed on a two week deadline, with a two person crew, and filmed in the artist’s garage over two nights. The rest of the time was spent making countless trips to craft stores and consignment shops, while the VFX elements were shot at home in conjunction with the edit.
